The Stetsonian 160th Edition pays tribute to—and continues— our rich 160-year history of impeccably crafting the finest dress hats for men. It has a vintage-inspired profile that recalls the elegant, rakish styles of the early 20th century when open crown dress hats were often worn bowler-style or shaped to the customer’s preference. The Stetsonian features a tall 6” open crown that’s made to be hand-creased and a 2 ⅝” bound edge brim, complemented by a wide grosgrain band. Handmade in the U.S.A. from our proprietary Royal Deluxe quality fur felt, it has a soft, supple feel and a snappy, flexible finish.

The 160th Anniversary Collection celebrates John B. Stetson’s founding of his namesake company in 1865 and embodies his original commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Each limited edition hat is marked by a signature Five Dollar gold coin emblem—a nod to the price paid for the first Stetson ever sold, by John B. Stetson to a passing bullwhacker in the Colorado Rockies in the early 1860s—as well as a “160” deluxe satin liner and custom leather sweatband.
