The Kent 160th Edition is crafted from Harris Tweed, which is prized for its multicolored nuances and heat-regulating properties. Naturally dirt and water repellent, it’s an ideal companion in the field, while its sophisticated, understated style easily transitions from country to city. The streamlined profile, fitted crown and stiff, flat, sewn-down brim are all features of the traditional ivy cap, a style with roots in 14th-century Scotland and an essential for well-dressed gentlemen, golfers and motorists since the 1900s.
The 160th Anniversary Collection celebrates John B. Stetson’s founding of his namesake company in 1865 and embodies his original commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Each limited edition hat is marked by a signature Five Dollar gold coin emblem—a nod to the price paid for the first Stetson ever sold, by John B. Stetson to a passing bullwhacker in the Colorado Rockies in the early 1860s—as well as a “160” liner and custom leather sweatband.
